The shift was put into motion roughly eighteen months ago with guidance from Rebel Ventures, a firm specializing in sports franchises and leagues, and the modifications continue through this date.

In a rare glimpse into the tournament’s history, Rebel Ventures, a sports digital strategy and tech venture firm, brought together photographers to let fans experience Wimbledon like never before in celebration of the tournament’s 150th year anniversary.

The Warriors enlisted digital strategy agency Rebel Ventures to look at how the marketplace was buying and valuing certain content. The goal was to change the team’s business and content model. Rebel’s sports clients include Real Madrid, Boston Red Sox and more.

Global head of digital Rafael de los Santos and Rebel Ventures’ CEO Craig Howe sat down to discuss the club’s strategy for digital transformation. “We are a football team, but we are also a brand and a company,” says de los Santos.

On Sunday Scott Kegley, Senior Manager of Digital and Social Media for the San Francisco 49ers, and his team pulled out all the stops, leveraging a host of innovative digital technologies and best practices to bring fans following along on the 49ers digital and social channels into the stadium

Rebel Ventures, has just announced the launch of their sports digital strategy and tech venture firm. Based out of Los Angeles, with a presence in New York and Madrid, Rebel Ventures hopes to maximize global sports brand’s digital presence as well as promote a better global fan experience.

This year, while rising to the top of the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, and San Francisco 49ers not only dominated on the field, but also put up big numbers in social media. It started back during training camp.

This year is going to be an insanely busy year for us because we have things to do for the Pyeongchang Games coming up next month, the World Cup in Russia this summer and the 50th anniversary of the U.S. Open in terms of digital strategy. We also do a ton of NBA work for the Warriors, Bulls and Hawks.

Shivam actively participates in many children’s charities that help bring the arts to underprivileged children. When you can’t find him in the office, he’s out training for a marathon (2 full and 10 half annually) or on a track instructing how to race cars.

Became a Rebel in August of 2018 to help businesses adapt and evolve with the ever-changing digital landscape. Varied experiences include working with large financial institutions, global brands, digital/creative agencies, and technology startups.

Chief Revenue Officer

With 20 years of experience in the marketing and advertising world, Jaci brings a deep breadth of work and knowledge of the market to the Rebel team. This expertise is leveraged both by Rebel and all its clients to maximize their ability to secure new and unique revenue generation opportunities.

A former heli-rappelling firefighter in the mountains of eastern Oregon. Spends time teaching her three sons to surf and a second language, Spanish.

Samantha oversees the general operations of Rebel Ventures. Became a Rebel in April of 2018 to bring his knowledge of pushing the boundaries of digital content and creativity to the sports community. His hope is by teaming up with Rebel, you won’t just do the same things differently, you’ll do something completely different.

Was once a member of an all-male A Cappella group (baritone and vocal percussion). NYU alum with a strong affinity for Irish whiskey and karaoke, usually in that order. Lives in New York City with his wife and his bunny, Carlos.
